The purpose of this course is to help you build strong foundations for your marriage. Over the course of the day we look at: how to recognise and appreciate your differences, the art of communication, making each other feel loved, keeping intimacy alive, shared values and expectations, managing conflict and the wedding ceremony itself.

In a relaxed setting, the evening kicks off at 7.15pm for tea and coffee and a 7.30pm start. A couple from the church lead each session & there is plenty of time for you to discuss things as a couple – don’t worry, you don’t need to share anything with anyone else if you don’t want to! There is also time for questions at the end of the session. The course is open to everyone & usually about half the couples who attend don’t normally come to church.

This term’s course starts on Tuesday 2nd April and runs for five weeks until 7th May (missing 23rd April for Easter). It is £20 per person to help us cover our running costs.

If you want to find out more information or have any questions please email Hannah or if you would like to sign up to the course please click here.

‘We’ve found the course really useful- it’s given us the opportunity, in all the chaos of all the wedding planning, to focus on what it’s all about- our marriage! So thank you!’

‘I would definitely recommend it, & I would do it again if I had the chance.’

We really enjoyed the course – thank you so much. I will thoroughly recommend that all my friends do it before they get married, it was brilliant.
