The threat of terrorism is a real concern to many in our city. Being prepared can make a difference – the first five minutes count and with the right skills and knowledge we might be better able to help ourselves, friends, family and strangers caught up in any terrorist attack. St Mary’s church has invited Rupert Godesen, an expert in this field, to speak and equip us with some basic understanding of ways that we can helpfully respond when faced with dangerous, shocking and unpredictable situations.
This is a public meeting open to the community. Everyone is welcome and doors will open at 7pm for coffee and the meeting will start at 7.30pm and be over by 9pm.
