Having a baby is wonderfully exciting, but the experience can be something of an emotional rollercoaster. Once the flurry of visits from family, friends and midwives has passed, it’s all too easy to feel isolated. |

Mum to Mum is a new initiative, run by St Mary’s Church, that seeks to provide an informal way for new mums to connect with other mums in their community who have been through the same experience.
Here’s how it works: a mum will make a one-off visit, bringing with her a bag of goodies, a booklet on the first few months written by an experienced doulah, and a flyer detailing what’s on offer for parents in your area. As someone who has children they’ll be there to talk about the early stages, and answer questions and give advice.

Be a visiting mum We are looking for mums to visit new mums all over London. Click here if you would like to help support women as they make the transition into motherhood. |
