Kiwoko Where? Kiwoko Hospital (www.fokh.org.uk) in Luwero, Uganda When? April 2012 What's involved? The Kiwoko team stay in the Kiwoko guest house in the hospital grounds. The team get involved in preaching, leading staff devotions, going into local schools, playing football and speaking at a conference for church leaders (which include the training of church leaders, men and women's seminars). Team members serve across each area at different times in the trip which includes oportunities to preach, pray for people and be involved in games, songs, drama's and bible studies. At the end of the trip the team have some downtime in a local hotel near Entebbe Airport. How much will it cost? £800-£900 (approx.) Bushfire Where? Bushfire Children's Home (www.bushfireproject.org/community) in Bulange, Uganda When? April 2012 What's involved? The team are involved in all aspects of Bushfire life, helping out in day to day activities, including planting, harvesting, building, water gathering, school work, family devotions etc. We also provide some healthcare and family appropriate skills training for the staff and social education for the children. There are opportunities to visit local homes (mud huts) and share in the Bulange Community Church as well as local schools. The Bushfire Project staff and children are very welcoming and appreciate every little offer of friendship and support. Whatever you bring to the team will be gratefully received and multiplied in their hands and hearts. How much will it cost? £800-£900 (approx.)
