What is the PCC?

The PCC (Parochial Church Council) is the elected body of lay church members who meet 8 times a year to help ordained and other staff members to evaluate their direction and policy.

How is the PCC elected?

Each member is proposed and seconded by St Mary’s members in the run up to the Annual General Meeting, in April of each year. 12-15 members are elected at the meeting, which is open to the entire congregation.
