Volunteer at St Mary's

The smooth running of most activities at St Mary's is dependent on our congregation. Volunteering is a great way to get involved, meet new people and serve the church.

Stewarding Team Help at Sunday services by serving coffee and stewarding for communion and collection. Stewards also help set up and clear up before and after services.		Welcome Team Welcome new people to the church at Sunday services. This involves greeting people as they arrive and chatting to them, as well as welcoming newcomers at termly events held on Sundays

Church Office Help out on an occasional basis in the church office with general administrative tasks.		Kids' Church Help with our lively kids' work on a Sunday morning, This role requires volunteers who have been Christians for more than 12 months and is subject to the relevant CRB checks.

Sunday Services & Events From sound engineers to film makers, drinks' servers to event hosts, there is always need for skilled people who want to give their time to make services and events happen.		Taskforce Sign up to help in the kitchen and serve food on various mid-week courses, including the LIFE course.

Slouch Serve coffee and food in Slouch cafe before the morning service or between the evening services on a Sunday.		Bookshop Help in the church bookshop before the morning service or between the evening services on a Sunday.
