Church, Jesus, the Bible, Worship, Prayer, Prophets, Evangelists, Miracles, Justice, Passion, Peace...   Nice ideas - right? They all work with God. But what about the real world? Streetcrime, overtime, the rat race, religious hate, relationships, poker chips, pragmatism, raw ambition, denial, hairstyle, clubbing, excess, payment arrears, future-fears, chart-show success... Can you mix that with God?
A lot of the regulars at St Mary's work in the Arts, Media and Entertainment industries, and a lot of you are very good at your jobs. Which also means that a lot of you spend your days thinking, practicing and creating ways of seeing, conceiving, understanding and buying in. Which is pretty exciting when you start to experience God in the middle of it. We're always looking for editors, designers, web gurus, set builders, lighting designers, cameramen and sound engineers - so if you are one of these, and would be willing to donate some of your time and energies/skills, please let us know who what and how much here.
