NURSERY OFFICER/TEACHER FOR SEPTEMBER TERM 2010
St Peter’s Nursery School
St Peter’s Nursery is a 46 place Christian Community Nursery based in Portobello Road, Notting Hill, offering affordable nursery education to children aged between 30 and 50+ months. The children, staff and families at St Peter’s reflect the vibrant, multicultural nature of this diverse area of central London.
As a member of the nursery team you will have shared responsibility of a group of children. You will work in partnership with a team to provide a safe, fun and stimulating learning environment that meets the individual needs of the children.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate:
· A sound working knowledge of the EYFS.
· A good understanding of child development.
· Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
· A positive approach to working in partnership with parents.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Relevant IT skills.
· Energy, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour.
Qualifications: - you will require recognised Early Years qualifications to a minimum level 3.
Normal staff hours: 8.15 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, term time only
Salary: According to qualifications and experience.
